Week 8 – Cairns

Classes have officially ended and finals seem to have gone well. It is nice to be done with classes as I will not be taking any for the next few months. For this trip, we get to go to Cairns for spring break. This was really exciting for me as my girlfriend from Bucknell is coming to visit me. Week Seven

Time has almost wound down on my stay in Sydney. I am starting to prepare for my final exams in my Business law and Federal Income Tax classes. These classes have been a blast and have felt much more entertaining than my usual classes at Bucknell. The professors really try their bests to make it fun and provide a positive learning environment. In Federal Income Tax we have had the privilege of having Bucknell alumni come in to talk to the class about their profession and what brought them to Australia. Australia Week 6 – James Hudson

The Business Law Midterm went well and Business Law is shaping into one of the most interesting classes I have taken at Bucknell. A unfortuante event that happened this weekend is our ceiling broke due to a leaking AC vent. It ruined one of my roomates shoes and caused the weekend to be spent with maintence workers in our room vaccuming up the water and adressing the chipped ceiling paint. Week Six Blog

Time in Australia is flying by and I hardly notice. I feel like the reality of leaving Australia is starting to hit as me and my friends try and branch out of comfort zone visiting places. Classes have been going well and have kept me entertained. I specifically like my Federal Income Tax class as it provides real-life examples on how to improve my tax situation and potentially save me some money in the future. Weekend in Thailand

My friends from high school and I had always talked about going to Thailand for our senior trip. Unfortunately, because of COVID, that trip never happened. I knew when I signed up for this program that getting to Thailand would be super easy and something I had to do. This trip was one of the first I booked while here! Exploring Bali

As I mentioned in my last blog, I have started traveling around Asia this week! My first destination is Bali, Indonesia.
