Singapore Week 4

Week 4 consisted of an exciting weekend trip to Bali! After a week of hard work I was able to relax with some friends I met in Sydney in Seminyak and Nusa Penida. I have never been to Bali before and being able to explore parts of the world like this which are only a couple hour flight away is incredible! Singapore Week 2

This was a great week as I felt more settled into Singapore after the first week. Singapore is very different from Sydney in many ways, so adapting to the culture and space I am in took some time. As I settled into my internship and their expectations from me, I was able to explore the city and check some things off my to do list. Singapore Week 1

Within the first couple of days in Singapore, I had to visit some of the main tourist attractions like the Marina Bay Sands! This hotel is even more stunning when seen in person at night. I was able to catch the light show that occurs every night! There are a couple nice restaurants at the top level which I am excited to hopefully try at some point during my time here. Grace Kim – Week 15

This week was a very gula melaka filled week of food! Gula melaka is essentially palm sugar, and has been something that I’ve come to enjoy very much. It definitely is sweet, but a different version of sweet! I got gula melaka milk tea, gula melaka coffee, gula melaka kueh, and a coconut shake with gula melaka sago. I highly recommend and is something that I will be searching for back home. The highlight of this week was the trip to Phuket! Singapore – Week 15

This week was another great workweek in Singapore. I spent most of my time in the office doing valuation work for companies that are on our platform in order to make their user experience the best it can be. I also spent time with coworkers outside of the office grabbing drinks and food. I am really enjoying my company and really love getting such a great experience in a different country. Harrison Week 3 In Australia

On the academic side of this week was learning about the Australian culture compared to America do see the different of this one of the days we watched Crocodile Dundee a very funny movie. It is about how a American reporter travels to Australia to interview an crocodile poacher. When he rescues her from an attack, she invites him to return with her to New York City.
