This past weekend we all went to Bintan to kick back and relax, unfortunately, the sun got the better of some of us. Bintan was a stunning picturesque location. The only issue was the ocean. Because of Singapore’s vast seaport, the waterways off the coast of Indonesia have the highest concentration of oil slicks and other pollutants. This produces tar in the water. The tar does not appear to be particularly dangerous and is frequently difficult to detect, but you can be certain it is present.
