Monday we did not have work because we had to go to the Ministry of Manpower to apply for our Work Holiday Passes. I did some grocery shopping and realized that Singapore is very expensive. Tuesday was our first day of work and our Intern Orientation. There were many computer difficulties, but after everyone was set up, I went to lunch with Ivy. On Friday, we went to lunch with Eunice to a Japanese restaurant where I got some squid and shrimp tempura. At night, we went to Marquee at the Marina Bay Sands for Charlotte’s birthday. It was the coolest club I have ever been in. It had a Ferris Wheel and a slide. Saturday was a rest and recover by the pool day for Nicole, Michelle, and I. Sunday, Michelle, Nicole, and I went to Sentosa Island. We all agreed that it felt like we were in an alternate reality place. We found a nice beach club to sit at and swam and hung out all day.
