This week was the same as the others – working. However, this weekend me and my friends travelled to Phuket, Thailand to have a much needed vacation. This was a trip I have been looking forward to for awhile. I flew in Friday night and took an hour long taxi to Patong, where I stupidly left my debit card in an atm. Driving into Patong was a massive change of pace compared to Singapore as it is not build up. I arrived at the hotel and ate a quick dinner before going out to Bangala road to explore. Patong was unlike anywhere I have been before.
The next morning my friends and I went on an ATV tour where we saw elephants and the Big Buddha. These were incredible sights to see and the Big Buddha was infact massive. At night we attended at Muay Thai boxing match which was very intense with some bad injuries occurring.
On Sunday, we took a day trip out to the Phi Phi islands which have some of the most spectacular beach views I have ever seen. The ferry ride was well worth it.
