This week my friends and I played tennis at our hotel. None of us are insanely good so it’s really fun to play king of the court. It is also sunny and over 85 degrees out so we can’t play long. After playing tennis we jumped in the pool which was really refreshing. After swimming I unfortunately fell through a pool tile and had to get an ambulance to the nearest hospital. I had to stay over night and got surgery really late the next day. It definitely thwarted my plans to go to Bintan but I am grateful to have gotten the right treatment as well as have some amazing people look after me. I spent the next week in bed.
When my friends returned from the trip it was one of my friends’ birthday where we ate on the top of the Marina Bay Sands again at a restaurant called Lavo. One of my friends wheeled me in a wheel chair to the MBS and we took an elevator up. The food was incredible and I was super lucky to still be able to share the his birthday with him.
