Week 3 in Singapore

This week was my third week in Singapore. I had a very good week at work and continued to improve upon my financial modeling and presentation making skills. I have also gotten much closer with my fellow intern, who goes to school at Villanova. I think it is incredible that I now have so many connections from other universities and across the world.

On Tuesday, it was one of my friend’s 21st birthdays. For his birthday, we were able to go to a restaurant called Lavo, which is on the roof of the Marina Bay Sands. The food was incredible, and the top of the MBS had an incredible view of the city.

On Sunday, we had the opportunity to take part in a cooking class. We made a dish called laksa. Before this, I was very skeptical of my cooking skills. However, me and my partner James surprisingly made a very good dish. It was definitely one of the best meals I have had so far, and I can’t wait to take my new cooking skills back to the US and make this dish for my family.
