Monday we went on an INCREDIBLE waterfall tour. I saw some of the most beautiful waterfalls I have ever seen. The weather was much better this day than the previous one. We got to swim in several different waterfalls and it was so beautiful. Tuesday was Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures day. This day was amazing as well. We went on a boat ride where the drivers fed crocodiles right next to the boats which was incredible. We got to see many cool animals and pet more Kangaroos, which was so amazing. All that being said, the highlight of this day (and probably my life) was when I got to pet Paradise the Koala. She was so soft and tried to crawl into my arms (she wasn’t allowed to). It was so amazing and I loved her so much. There was a bird exhibit also that had this one bird who was, at the risk of sounding conceited, obsessed with me. Dean Kepner thought it was so funny and took so many pictures. At the end of the day I bought a stuffed Kangaroo and named her Paradise to remember the koala (I already had bought a Koala stuffy earlier on in the trip.)

Wednesday we went to Fitzroy Island to lounge around and do some snorkeling. It was a very relaxing day and it was so beautiful. Thursday was a crazy day. We had no activities planned so we decided to have a relaxing day by the pool. Jocelyn came over and we decided that we were going to go get tattoos. I had been wanting mine for a very long time, but needed some moral support. It hurt very badly, but I love it and am very glad I got it. Friday, Michelle, Nicole, and John went skydiving. Since we didn’t want to do that, Ned, Manolo, and I went to the Cairns Aquarium, which was very cool. That night, we had a group dinner at Fetta’s, a Greek restaurant. It was really fun. There was a belly dancer who came in and was dancing with us, and we got to throw plates around. Saturday we left for Singapore. In the morning, Manolo, Michelle, and I went to the mall to get more luggage so that our bags wouldn’t be overweight. We flew to Singapore and landed pretty late. We got to our hotel, the Orchard Parksuites, and went to bed. The next day, we had orientation and went shopping to get work clothes. This was also St. Patrick’s Day, so after we were settled, Ashling, Manolo, Ned, and I found an Irish pub to celebrate at. It was a very eventful week but certainly one that I will never forget.
