This week was another great workweek in Singapore. I spent most of my time in the office doing valuation work for companies that are on our platform in order to make their user experience the best it can be. I also spent time with coworkers outside of the office grabbing drinks and food. I am really enjoying my company and really love getting such a great experience in a different country.
During the weekend, my friends and I traveled to Bali, Indonesia. The flight was slightly less than three hours and was perfect to fit in during the weekend. We spent our time in Bali split between the mainland and Penida Island. During our time on the mainland we went to some local venues and also had the ability to visit the beach. We also went to a pool venue that was by the beach and it allowed us to take some amazing pictures and meet others that were traveling to Bali.
After a great time on the mainland, we went to Penida Island. During our stay there we rented mopeds for the equivalent of $5 USD a day. Penida was definitely less touristy than the mainland but I actually enjoyed it more. We spent most of our time driving around and going to the beautiful beaches that the island had to offer. During our time, we went to Diamond Beach and Kelingking Beach. Both beaches were the most beautiful beaches that I have ever seen. At both places we hiked down to the beach and got to experience the crystal clear waters and sandy beaches. After visiting both beaches, we spent some time in town and shopped at some of the local stores. I was able to buy clothes and souvenirs for my family members and then headed back to the airport. Later that evening, we flew back to Singapore to start another week of work.
