Time in Australia is flying by and I hardly notice. I feel like the reality of leaving Australia is starting to hit as me and my friends try and branch out of comfort zone visiting places. Classes have been going well and have kept me entertained. I specifically like my Federal Income Tax class as it provides real-life examples on how to improve my tax situation and potentially save me some money in the future. Business law has also been useful in the event I want to form my own company some day.
Outside of the classroom, I had the opportunity to catch up with some fellow Bucknellians who are currently studying abroad in a different program. We had a great time and it was nice to be able to hang out with all them, especially the ones I am living with off-campus next year.
On one of our days off of class, my friends and I took the walk south from Bondi beach to a small bay cove which had great swimming conditions. This was one of my favorite places as it was much more relaxed than the busy beaches we usually explore. It was quite far out of the way and takes about on hour on public transit, but it was well worth it. I hope I am able to visit it again later on in the semester.
