Time has almost wound down on my stay in Sydney. I am starting to prepare for my final exams in my Business law and Federal Income Tax classes. These classes have been a blast and have felt much more entertaining than my usual classes at Bucknell. The professors really try their bests to make it fun and provide a positive learning environment. In Federal Income Tax we have had the privilege of having Bucknell alumni come in to talk to the class about their profession and what brought them to Australia. This gave me a great insight on the life of expats in Australia and it has made me think about searching for a job here post graduation.
On the weekend I had the opportunity to go up to Port Stevens with friends. Port Stevens is about a three hour train ride from Sydney, but easily accessible. It was very nice to see a different part of Australia because Port Stevens was a very small community. The beaches were incredible and seemed to go on forever. There were camels to ride on the beach, but unfortunately it started to rain so I couldn’t do it. The sunset on the beach was also incredible and one that I will never forget.

My 21st birthday was also at the end of the week so it was great to be able to have a great time with the close friends I have made throughout this trip.
