Another day another dollar (joking we are unpaid). Work takes up most of the week, but luckily enough I work remote on Monday and Tuesday which gives me some time to relax and explore the city. Equity research is a fun job that allows me to learn more about various sectors. I believe this internship will be very useful for the rest of my life as I now have a better understanding on how to evaluate companies. All my friends are working different jobs with different schedules. A few of my friends work fully remote which they enjoy – except one of my friend managed to cut his foot open badly by the pool requiring surgery.
On the weekend we took a school trip to Bintan, Indonesia via ferry. We stayed at a nice calm resort that had many different activies. One of our favorites was the bananna boat which we rode on many times getting thrown off going around corners. It was nice to see another part of the world, but being on a resort felt quite restrictive and didn’t paint a good enough image of the country.
We had a nice dinner on a dock which had an incredible sunset. We enjoyed some drinks after and stayed their until it closed.
