This week my friends and I went surfing at Manly Beach. Everytime we go to Manly I am still blown away by how gorgeous the ferry ride is. When we got to the beach we rented surf board and immediately hit the water. About 5 minutes in one of my friends had actually snapped his board in half and had to go back to the surfboard rental shop to get a new board. Luckily he wasn’t charged as the owners knew that the board was old when they gave it to him and gladly gave him a new one. Surfing was a lot of fun but the water and current was very strong causing paddling out to be more challenging. Overall I have loved being able to surf in Australia and have had the best time here thus far.
On Thursday, one of my friend’s mom visiting invited all of us for drinks ontop of the Crown. The Crown is one of the nicest hotels in Sydney and I was very lucky to be able to have the opportunity to go. The roof was amazing and the views were incredible. My friends and I disscussed our time in Australia and gave her recommendations to vist during her stay.
