Ned’s Week Eight Blog

This was my last week in Sydney and I had such a great time. I felt like my time here flew by and I am sad to leave. I have had so many great experiences and I am so grateful for this opportunity.  I was super happy to end classes. I learned a lot in Organizational Behavior and Individual Federal Income Tax, and I am looking forward to using what I learned in the future. The city itself is super cool and there are many things to do and see. During this last week, I visited my favorite places one last time, and went to manly beach with my friends.

I went to my favorite food places for the last time. One of which is this Greek place that has the best chicken gyros. There was also this really good pizza place around the corner from the hotel that I got to go to one last time. I am going to miss the food here a lot. While I am looking forward to heading to Singapore, I know that the food is going to be very different.

During this last week, my friends and I went to a beach right next to Manly called Shelly beach. The beach is very small and secluded and has an amazing view of the harbor. While there I got stung by a blue bottle jellyfish and it hurt a lot. At first, I did not know what it was and thought it was a piece of seaweed. It stung me on my hand and it was numb for a few hours. After the beach, we went to this harborside restaurant and had a great meal during the sunset. I have had such a great time in Sydney and I am going to miss it a lot. I am looking forward to my spring break in Cairns.
