Week 4 Sydney IMAX

Did you know, Sydney is home to one of the largest IMAX movie theaters in the world? Not only is this Gigantic theater in Sydney but it’s right outside our front door. This week everything has begun to set into a more rhythmic style as everyone is starting to feel less like they’re on vacation and more like they are living in Australia. Or at least that’s how I feel. Last week was a lot of fun, lots of partying, and also lots of work. Finishing up the midpoint of the semester means that we had to finish up our classes and deal with the exams. Overall I enjoyed my first two classes in Sydney, I took Financial Decision Modeling and Australia Life and Culture.

I got high grades in both sessions and really loved learning the topic. I consider myself fortunate to have taken Financial Decision Modeling with one of the greatest professors I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. On the other hand, my Australian life and culture class was primarily taught by watching movies and then debating presentations. VERY IDEAL for 8 a.m!

This week is the start of our second pairing of classes and I’m excited to take Federal income tax, however, I am NOT thrilled for Business Law. Additionally, this week I was able to do a cruise on saturday afternoon from darling harbor all the way to manly and back, this was among one of the most fun nights I had in Sydney. The boat was featured with a rooftop hangout and an amazing DJ. We had the opportunity to meet really cool people and experience one of the must do Sydney attractions.
