What a week! This past week we had the opportunity to travel to Cairns for Spring Break. This was the perfect week with both time for relaxation by the beach and awesome adventures! We stayed at a hostel called Gilligan’s, which proved to be a very interesting experience. There were travelers from all over the world that I got to meet. Although we had a room at Gilligan’s, my friends and I got an AirBnB for a few days as well, which was a great time.
Throughout the week, we got to go to many different cool places, like Fitzroy Island and Huntley’s Crocodile Adventures. Fitzroy Island had some of the most amazing beaches I had ever seen, and even had a large rock near the water that we could jump off of. At Huntley’s Crocodile Adventures we were able to take a ferry ride right next to alligators while they were being fed.
Overall, it was a great Spring Break and I can’t wait to travel to Singapore to begin my internship.
