This past week was our 6th week here! So we had lots of midterms to complete and spent a good amount of time on classes but still stayed in Sydney and explored around here :))
Starting Monday, I decided to go for a walk in the morning to the Opera House. Unfortunately, just as I reached that point it started pouring rain and thundering. I hid out in a nearby museum for a while before deciding to run home as my class was starting in a few hours and I still had to dry off. The weather here is so crazy as it just seems to storm out of the blue and is pretty unpredictable. Then on Tuesday, this was my second day of the week where I had a bit more time as I only had my morning Tax course. The rest of the day I headed over to the mall with my roommate Anna. Here we got some lunch and shopped around the rest of the day to wait out some of the rain.
On Wednesday, I had class for the day so I was focused on my work and preparing for some of the midterm assessments. Thursday, I also had both my classes and then we headed out to dinner for a Bucknell friend’s birthday. We went to an Italian restaurant on Spice Alley and ordered some pasta and pizza. This night was our first night seeing a big Huntsman spider here which was a bit scary. It started climbing up the dish cart next to our table, which definetely frightened us all!
On Friday I had one of the best days here in Sydney!! During the day I headed over to Coogee Beach with two of my friends. We relaxed on the beach all day and went into the ocean for a while as it was super hot that day with temperatures in the 90s. For lunch, I stopped at Cali Press which sells good sandwiches, and ate it on the beach. Then I headed back to get ready to listen outside at the Taylor Swift concert. I had been dying to get tickets and was not able to make it. About two minutes before we got off the train to go inside my roommate found two tickets randomly. We were so scared they were not real but luckily we made it inside and had such a great view.

Saturday we took the day to sleep in as we were extremely tired from getting home late the night before (it was really busy trying to take the train home). I also did not have much of a voice since I was shouting all night. During the day I went on a walk and out to lunch/breakfast before heading out to dinner that night in Sydney.

Sunday was another fun day as we decided to explore more around Manly, a spot north of Sydney. Here we went to a smaller beach called Collins Flat Beach. It was a bit of a hike down a few trails, so there were not too many people here which was very nice and relaxing. There was even a small waterfall on the beach which was super pretty. The rest of the day we headed back and relaxed following our long week.
