For week 5 here we started our new classes. For these 2 classes I am taking Business Law and Federal Tax and Income. On Monday I started off with our Business Law class from 3:30 to 7:00. Then on Tuesday I did not have class so I headed over to Bronte Beach with my roommate Anna. We stayed their for the most of the day and some other friends also showed up while we were there. We then headed over to Bondi when it started raining to pick up some food until the rain passed. We spent the rest of sunset swimming and hanging out at the beach there before coming home.
Wednesday was Valentine’s day so after Business Law on Wednesday we had a fun dinner with some Bucknell girls. They made pizza and a cake for us so we spent some time there. Thursday I had class pretty much all day. So I did not take the time to do much in between classes other than finish up some work and relax before my next class.
Friday we went to meet a Bucknell alum at his office. It was so cool to hear his story about ending up in Sydney. He also took a lot of time to answer all of our questions and tell us more about his life. We then went out to lunch with everyone and ended up taking the ferry home.
Saturday was our wine tour to Scarborough and Brokenwood in Hunter Valley. It was so much fun to go explore and drink some wine all day. We also learned a lot more about all of their processes and about the wine industry in general. Sunday was my roomates birthday so we headed to the beach for the day. We then came back and went to the Opera Bar. This was so pretty as it looks out at the opera house and bridge in the city.
