Week 3!
It is crazy to think we are already done with week 3! I think we all started to feel very settled and good in our routines this week. Monday through Wednesday I spent most of my time in class and finished up my presentations for this term of courses. In between classes, I spent a lot of time walking around the city, shopping, and spending time with some friends.
On Thursday, I went to class in the morning and then headed over to the beach for the day. This week I went to Bronte which is south of Bondi Beach. It was a lot calmer here as there were not many people and one of my new favorite spots. Unfortunately, the beach was closed meaning we could not go in the ocean since the rip tides and currents were very strong that day. However, I still had a great time and want to go back again soon! Later that day since we do not have class on Fridays I went out to dinner with my roommates and another friend to celebrate the end of the week.

Friday we left for Melbourne in the afternoon! So I went on a walk and spent the morning packing for our weekend trip. Our flight left Sydney at 5:30 and we made it to our hotel in Melbourne around 9 pm that night. We were pretty hungry so we found an Italian restaurant to eat at for dinner before heading to bed.
Saturday morning we left around 7:00 am for our tour of the Great Ocean Road. It was a long day on the bus with a very chatty driver but the views were very pretty and I am happy I got to go. We saw a few Koalas up in the trees, the Aposcles, and stopped at a view different beaches to enjoy the view. Below are some pictures from the day. Then that night we spent some time exploring the city as we did not have the opportunity to during the day. Sunday I spent as a free day in Melbourne! I walked around the city and shopped in a few stores before heading out to dinner at an Italian restaurant that night and stopping for Gelato before our early wake-up Monday to head back to Sydney.

This upcoming week will be our 4th week in Sydney meaning we are half way through our time here and we are finishing up our final week of classes for our 1st two courses. I can’t believe time has gone by so fast but I am really excited to have another weekend here in Sydney.
