The final week in Sydney and classes ending was a sad realization. I made sure to take full advantage of the last week by efficiently studying at night and planning day trips on the back end of the week. I went to two places that I was constantly recommended to go to. These were Watson’s Bay and Palm Beach. I went to both of these places alone to seek out breathtaking hikes followed by relaxing on the beach. Both spots had scenic views, with lighthouses overlooking their respective beaches and bays. I was even able to see a sea plane take off while on the ferry back from Watson’s Bay. Visiting these historic spots was the best way to wind down on Thursday and Friday after finishing up finals. I was pleased with the knowledge I came out with following Federal Income Tax and International Finance. I am expecting the International Finance class to assist me in my internship in Singapore. Up next is Cairns for Spring break, and I am excited to explore the Great Barrier Reef as I am an avid scuba diver. I am also looking forward to possibly try skydiving!
I also completed my last early morning run from our Oaks accommodation to Bondi Beach which was bitter sweet! I asked a friendly man outside to capture the moment when returning to Oak’s for the memories!
