This week was my final week in a Sydney, one which was largely marked by a lot of classwork as our study time rounded to a close.
In the end, I really loved my last two classes. International finance was very interesting and provided me with skills that I will sorely need in Singapore under my Morningstar internship. I also really loved tax class – the previous sentence was something I never thought I would say, but I did actually enjoy taxes. Although, it felt slightly odd learning American taxes while in Australia
On the final day in Sydney, I went to the Opera House once again to see the Sydney Orchestra in action.
It was my last opportunity to experience the arts and culture of Sydney, a city that I genuinely love with all my heart. It was such an incredible experience to be here, and there is no doubt that I will return someday. I know my cousin is going to study abroad in Australia in a year or two, so maybe I can use that as my excuse to come back!
