This week, my friends I journeyed again to Bondi beach and Manly beach. After experiencing both beaches more than once, I can safely say Bondi beach is my favorite even though the ferry ride to Manly is one of the most beautiful ferry rides in all of Sydney. On Friday, my friends and I all woke up early to get a full beach day in at Bondi. We noticed that the hottest parts of the day, where the sun is strongest, is between 10am and 1pm. The waves were also insane that day, reaching nearly 6-7 feet. My friends and I body surfed for hours and then took the bus/train back to our hotel. Later that night we were all tired from the beach and were reluctant to cook so we decided to walk around Sydney and find a place to eat. We stumbled across this small Italian place around 15 min from our hotel and decided to eat there for dinner. I got the spaghetti bolognese which was incredible and the rest of my friends got other pastas and pizza.
On Saturday my friends and I went to our favorite pub for their famous 50 cent wing night while we prepared for our Business Law midterm that we had on Sunday. On Sunday, the final was only three questions but took me at least 4 hours to complete due to the complex nature of law. I have really been enjoying the class and have been relating it to one of my favorite TV shows, Suits. Overall this week was one of my slower weeks since being here, focusing on school and being productive during the day.
