Grace Kim – Week 5

The beach highlight of this week was Gordon’s Bay! It is a small beach hidden away between Clovelly and Coogee Beach. The water was absolutely beautiful and many visitors were snorkeling in the water! The waves were nice to swim in and the walk to and from was amazing.

I also ventured to the Art Gallery of New South Wales, which is right by the Royal Botanical Garden. This was a location that was on my bucket list from the very beginning, and I am very glad to have gone! They had a range of art on display from sculptures to paintings and interactive videos. There was a DJ on one of the floors for a special event, and the collections were really nice to view and read about.

The weekend trip consisted of a group excursion to the Hunter’s Valley! It was my first time at a winery, and overall it was a wonderful experience getting to learn more about the wine making process as well as getting to see up close the steps that go into the process of picking grapes to bottling the wine! I consumed lots of cheese this day.

Lexi and I also went to Dookki for dinner one day and had the most amount of food we had ever consumed on this trip. Tteokbokki is one of my favorite foods of all time, as it brings back memories of family and childhood.
