Out and About in Aussie

I spent the week admiring some amazing views! To begin with, I wanted to do some more exploring on my own. This led me to the Royal Botanical Garden. While I did end up getting lost amongst the beautiful flowers and foliage, I met a very courageous duck that came up to me and a giant lizard creature that blocked my path!

Over the weekend, all of the Bucknell students spent Saturday at Hunter Valley, an area dedicated to wineries and vineyards. We not only got to see how the wine is made but we were able to taste the most popular wines from two separate vineyards. The wine was paired with a huge array of cheeses and oysters.

After an eventful Saturday, I spent most of Sunday lounging around at Tamarama beach. This is definitely my new favorite spot as there is not as much sand as other beaches but insanely clear and turquoise waters! I then left the beach for a boat party! The boat spent around three hours on the harbor, providing great views of the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbor Bridge.

While the week was a bit cloudier and rainy than I had expected, I was still able to knock a few views and experiences off of my bucket list without the weather impeding too much!
