This week we went on a trip to Melbourne. Melbourne was beautiful and the views were spectacular. My friends and I decided to to tour the city on Lime scooters which were the public rental electric scooters readily available on most streets in Melbourne. The weather was amazing and seeing a new city in Sydney was very fun. The Lime transportation was very cheap and Melbourne felt a lot more like a city than Sydney.
After Melbourne, we had “finals week” for the first two classes that we took during the first “half of the semester.” My finals consisted of a six page essay in my Aussie Culture and Life course and an in-person final for my Global Management course. These classes were very interesting and I learned a lot about how to conduct business on a global scale as well as learning about the indigenous culture here in Australia. It’s crazy to think that we are past halfway with our abroad trip. Sydney has been incredible and I know I will be reluctant to leave.
