Australia – Week 3

GDay! After three weeks in Australia, I already do not want to leave. After our trip to Melbourne, I spent the week traveling throughout Sydney. Earlier this week, me and some friends booked a boat trip that went all around the area. The experience was amazing and it gave me and opportunity to explore some areas that are not possible to get to by car. Attached below is one of the pictures I was able to take during the tour.

Later in the week, me and some friends traveled to Watsons Bay. We took public transport by ferry for about 45 minutes to get there, although it didn’t feel like typical public transport due to the amazing views everywhere. The beach was nice and very quiet (a good change of pace from Bondi and Manley Beach). There was also a hike around the cliff in the area where we got to see some amazing views! The scenery was breathtaking and you could also see the whole city of Sydney from a far which was amazing!

Me and my friends also watched the superbowl on a monday at 10:30 am! It was very interesting watching a sporting event I normally watch on a sunday night. Even though the chiefs won, it was very fun watching the game during the morning.

Other than the two trips that I took above, I also got the chance to walk around Chinatown during the Chinese New Year! There were fireworks and lots of cool live shows. It was great to learn more about a culture that I have not experienced. Easy to say, I have fallen in love with this place and do not want to leave!
