Week 3 Blog

G’Day! This past week was quite an eventful one! We were in Melbourne for the weekend and returned back Monday morning for finals week! I had a test in Global Management which went swell and afterwards, our professor, Nigel, took us out to a nice Japanese restaurant. Additionally, in my Aussie Life and Culture class, I gave my final presentation and wrote a 1700 word final essay. It was a quick four weeks, however I can confidently say that I have learned a great deal from these classes and am excited to take my next two! Apart from finals week, we had a nice tour around the Sydney harbor and I was able to take some close up pictures of Australia’s (never used) naval warships and lookout spots! I do have to note that I had my first interaction with a huntsman spider that somehow made its way into our apartment. I figured I would spare everyone the picture! My roommates and I politely asked him to leave and then he then put on his top hat and wandered away! All in all, it was a very busy week filled with numerous activities, but that’s what makes it so incredible here! I will keep everyone posted with my new classes, G’night!
